From BB the Dog Groomer: HAVE A SAFE HALLOWEEN!

Hey Petentials pets!
I want you all to enjoy a fun and SAFE Halloween, so here's my warning for the holiday.
"They" always said NEVER eat the chocolate, right?
Well, one time I wanted to know the REAL TRUTH (I thought it was a conspiracy to keep it all for themselves!) The good news is that it takes, on average, a fairly large amount of theobromine (the bad stuff)100-150 mg/kg to cause a toxic reaction. Although there are variables to consider like the individual sensitivity, animal size and chocolate concentration.

On average,
Milk chocolate contains 44 mg of theobromine per oz.

BB's Quick and Important Hurricane Tip!!

Hurricanes!!! Head for the HILLLSSSSS!!!!..Woof!
Friends,
Make sure your Mom packs plenty of food and bottled water for you too if you have to evacuate. And if you don't, dry food and bottled water is essential too. And if you do leave, a copy of your vacination record is most important too!
Stay safe everyone!

BB's Pet Grooming Tip for Summer!!

Hi Petentials pets!
This is BB the Dog Groomer with a Summer Tip:

Make sure to tell your people you need fresh, clean water all the time...in the summer especially, bacteria can grow FAST and we all know that is not good for us....A piece of ice dropped in every once and awhile is always fun and "cool" too....
Tell them also not to be alarmed if you don't eat as much in the hot summer months, it is a natural instinct for us to "lay off full bellies" when it is real hot (something our folks could learn from HAR-DEE HAR-HAR!!!)

From BB the Dog Groomer

Hi Petentials pets!
As you know, my mom is a groomer and I get to go in the truck with her!
Here's my latest tip for you all...
Please tell your mommies to go to your local pet store and buy you a brush designed specifically for your coat and brush you every morning and evening before bedtime.
Not only will this remove dead and loose hair and possibly disturb hiding bugs that may have found a new home during the day. But it will also help to remove the under coat and stimulate the precious oils to be released to help keep you coat shinny and healthy.
Happy grooming!
:) BB Hartley

Pet Grooming Tip # 3 by BB

Hi Petentials pets,
I am the Pet Groomer American Bull Dog. I go with my mom in her Precious Pets Spa Truck everywhere and meet a lot of friends.
Attention all you flop eared bowzers out there in ciber land!
It is summer time and where you live it is probably HOT...Here in Florida it is HOT and HUMID...PERFECT weather for yeast, fungus and bacteria to grow...guess where? In those dark warm moist floppy ears of yours!
Make sure your owner sniffs the insides of your ears regularly. It feels good to you and if they smell an odor then chances are you could have a problem in there.

Beware Poison Mulch! By BB

Dear Friends, My mom got this on the net.
VERIFIED by Snopes- VERIFIED ALSO BY GOOGLE

Yesterday one of our dog agility friends experienced a tragedy and wanted me to pass a special message along to all of my dog loving friends and family.
Please tell every dog owner you know.

Over the weekend the doting owner of two young lab mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. They loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden. Their dog Calypso decided that the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a

BB's Pet Grooming Tip # 2

Hey Petentials pets,
This is from my mom, the dog groomer...

Watch out for those pesky fleas!!!! They can get on you ANYWHERE...a walk in the park, friends visiting, going to grandma's house...even they will get on your mom's or dad's pant leg and come in the house...and then on YOU!

There are over 2000 species of fleas in the world. Thankfully, only the cat flea and the dog flea (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis) are important to dogs and cats. Despite the name, cat fleas infest dogs just as much as they infest cats.

BB's Pet Grooming Tip #1

Hi!

My name is BB and my mom Marsha is a professional groomer. Before she started her own business with my dad Rock, she was a vet’s assistant and a vet tech, so she knows what she’s doing. I'm such a lucky American Bull Dog! I get to go with her in our Precious Pets trucks all over the place. I see what she does and I get to meet everybody!
