I just want to be a lap dog!

Hello to everyone. Just wanted to ask what's up with the humans? All I want to do is sit in their lap! They let my little furry sister sit in their lap. Now, I know before you take their side that she only weighs 6 pounds and I weigh about 80 pounds, but come on, look at me - I'm so cute and loveable! I won't hurt them, I just want to sit on the couch and watch tv with them, maybe give some wet kisses - for heaven sake how else can I tell them I love them! But no, the mommy says I weigh as much as her and would suffocate her, but she smells so good and she talks so nice. And the daddy loves to play with me so I just want to give some love back! So what is a bully to do? I can't send them a card... Anyone have any ideas???

I personally dont understand your problem...I'm only 11 lbs! I like to be in humans laps all the time too so I understand that part, you just want some love given and recieved! I get you, maybe ya'll can go outside or have them play fetch with you. Or possibly, ask your humans to sit in the floor with you and you lay your HEAD in their lap...80 lbs is an awful lot for a puppy so maybe your head will weigh less...hehe! Give it a try! Ruff out!

Thanks, Hank, maybe I will try that. It's just so hard being big {sigh}, but maybe they'll let me lay my head in their lap and they can rub me, and rub me, and rub me some more! It's worth a shot! Bark at ya l8r!

I love lap naps but my owner

I love lap naps but my owner has a bad habit of drinking diet cokes all day!! I sometimes wish I was a cat so I could just curl up on the top of the toilet(I would see her more!! :))
