My Claim to Fame: I was only a small, half-dollar sized turtle in a bucket with a bunch of my brothers and sisters, sitting at the Florida Strawberry Festival arcade back around 2001 when I was scooped out, put in a styrofoam cup and handed over to a 11 yr. old boy and his parents.
They took me to their home and put me in a plastic bowl with its own palm tree! I didn't like their local water, it was turning my shell white, so the "mom" person cleaned my bowl and filled it up with fresh, clean, bottled water. Ahhhh.
I've had a great life and have since grown to be about the size of my first bowl! I now live in a nice 29 gallon aquarium with a nice filtration system, but it is starting to get cramped, I think I am growing again!
