Hi, everybody. My name is Boa. My mom says it's because my tail is "bow'd" but I don't get that, since I only have half a tail.
I live with a nice family in Florida. Mom, dad, 5 year old and new baby. Also a very cool (although kinda homely) bulldog.
They all live in a small house, so I prefer to spend my time outdoors. Mostly, I love to hang out under the dad's car. Nothing provides more shade than an SUV.
I don't just nap, though. Nope, I keep an eye out for my peeps. Like the 6th grader who makes regular treks in front of my house on his way to and from school. I can count on him for some great ear rubbing and even a little rough housing.
There's a little girl who lives kitty-corner (get it?) across the street. She's only 3 and her mom isn't so wild about me, but man, that kid thinks I'm the cat's meow (another pun!) So, every time the mom opens her garage door and starts to put the kid into her car seat, I shoot across the street to get a little attention from the kid. Hey, the grocery shopping can wait, right?
Right across the street is this woman who lives alone and sorta doesn't have any pets, but man, there's a lot of wildlife in her yard. Augustus, the armadillo, is always wandering around in her yard. He doesn't say much to me, but I try to avoid him.
Now, when this lady comes outside, I always race over to see her and give her all the news of the neighborhood - she says I "talk alot". She knows just the right places to rub on my head and ears, which is kind of embarassing, because it makes me drool - sometimes on her feet. Oops.
She also has a bunch of other cats who hang out in her yard - they like to "sleep" under her sago palms, but I think they just wait there to hiss at me when I come over to be neighborly.
She's also got a hawk that likes to hang around. So far, he's only gone for the lizards in the yard, but I'm hoping one day he'll be really hungry and go after those mean cats who don't like me over there.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and find out if there are any other cats out there who don't limit themselves to just one family but like to get their strokes from the whole neighborhood.
Don't think that because I don't have a photo posted I'm not cute. I'm small, trim and having half a tail is very distinctive. I'm just a wee bit camera shy.

Hi Boa!
My name is Scribbles. I live with my sister Rainbow, a Springer Spaniel, and my brother Pando. We don't really know what he is, he's kind of a Pit Bull/Boxer mix, but he thinks he's the man! Whenever he comes over and tries to sniff me, I bop him one on the head 'cause in my house I'm known as NINJA KITTY!
I live with my mom and my uncle Danny. And my uncle's crazy about me and pets me all the time.
You look like you have it made girl! Keep goin'!
